Research

  • Yao’s research focuses on the regeneration of multiple tissue types through biomaterials at both micro- and nano-scales. She is currently working on developing novel strategies (scaffolds, nanoparticles, etc.) to facilitate efficient gene delivery in order to target specific types of tissue in the human body.
